Poka Dot Com is just as her name suggests. She’s light silver gray with rose dots. We have been told by our very good friend Dale Davis that she possesses a rare double gene then when bred to gray will always produce gray time after time.

We had planned to send Poka Dot out for breeding, but as this is Shelby’s alpaca, she refused to let her leave the farm, so we bred her to Snowmass Arsenal, our XXXtreme replacement.
Arsenal’s sire is XXXtreme, grandsire Snomass Casanoava, and great grandsire Snowmass Casanova. Talk about a treasure trove of genetics here! So, how will Paladin’s Caligula genes and the above powerpack of genetics mix? Ask me next year and I’ll tell you!

Poka Dot received top honors, with Shelby’s wonderful showmanship skills (they make a wonderful team) placing 1st at AWE and 1st at Alpacapalooza in 2009.
