About Alpaca Bella Fina

One fateful night, we were watching TV when an alpaca commercial came on. Just one look and we were hooked. In four short years, we have gone from stressful jobs and no life to full-time alpaca farmers. It has been a dream come true. Our only regret is that we didn’t buy alpacas sooner.

Alpaca Bella Fina is owned and run by Tim and Della Wagnon. Tim was born in Emmett, Idaho, and played football for BSU. After school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was sent overseas where he met and married a English girl named Della.

Della was raised in Bristol, England, and has represented her country in sports. For many years, she has traveled the world giving seminars on fitness. But her love of animals won her over the moment she saw alpacas.

Coming from England, Della always loved her visits to Italy, so she wanted an Italian name. Thus, Alpaca Bella Fina was born.

Yes, there is a meaning behind the name, which is also our mission statement for our farm. " Bella" means beautiful. "Fina" means fine. Our goal to raise the finest fleeced alpacas possible.
